To be built, Lansdowne Commons is a community of 44 townhomes laid out on a 4.2-acre infill site in the center of an established neighborhood. The opportunity that comes with developing land within an existing community is that buyers will often be young adults who grew up in the vicinity.
They have the chance to buy a brand new home, and remain close to friends and family, within walking distance to where they grew up. With this buyer in mind, we wanted to make Lansdowne affordable, while creating a community to be proud of. To that end, we designed 16-foot-wide townhomes nestled in a buffer of foliage; and to give visitors a sense of arrival, we designed a stately tree-lined entrance.
